Meet my beautiful, kind-hearted Cyprus girlfriends

Hi guys! #Mondayblues attack! Kejapnya dah isnin.. Rasa macam baru je excited nak masuk weekend haritu. Ni dah kena masuk kerja balik. Haih rindu anak-anak dekat rumah. Bila dekat pulak rasa gerammmm je especially bila yang si abang tu carik pasal. Hahah nak membesar kan sabar je lah. Weekend lepas I bawak diorang pergi jalan. Okay tu InsyaAllah next entry!

Anyway, Facebook reminded me of my 6 years friendship with these Cyprus girls - Maria & Andrea. Personally, I suka sangat personality diorang, their culture, and also how hardworking they are. Okay dalam gambar nampak macam dah 20+ jugak kan? But no. Masa ni diorang baru 16-18 years old dah rajin sambung degree. And currently sorang dah kerja dekat Cyprus, sorang lagi tengah sambung Masters dekat Newcastle. 

Masa zaman study dulu, I selalu mintak tips diorang untuk study and take notes in class. I mcm kadang2 terkontang-kanting dalam kelas tak faham ape lecturer membebel kat depan tu, then lepas tu diorang ni lah yang akan ajar I sampai I faham. Sometimes diorang akan just randomly ajak I lepak with their Cyprus gangs. And they speak English! Tak macam dekat sini, certain people yang tahu kita tak faham bahasa diorang pun sibuk nak cakap depan kita.

Gosh I miss these girls so much. Selalu imagine kalau kitorang boleh buat reunion together tapi mcm impossible je sebab masing-masing jauh. I always pray that one day we could all be crossing path together again. Miss and love you both a lots xoxo :)

Newcastle University: BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance = CHECKED!

Haih. Apa punya malas lah aku nak update cerita sekarang ni? Padahal, banyak je benda jadi sekarang ni. Eh jap, lupa. Assalamualaikum semua! Kahkah awkward jugak aku nak menaip ni tapi alah bantai jelaaahh. Takde sape kesah pun ye dak? Aku je kisah. Sebab apa tau? Haha tadi aku try login gmail. lepas tu kan selalu keluar terus "dashboard", "add post" semua tu kan? sekali ada button "create a new blog". berderau darah. woi jangaaannnn sayang duh blog ni semenjak zaman muda mudi remaja lagi (sekarang pun remaja tapi matured sikit la). post-post yang karut marut sebelum ni yang bila aku baca balik rasa nak cekik diri sendiri, aku dah delete. adios! haha tapi kalau korang ada terbaca yang aku tak sempat nak delete lagi, mohon jangan muntah. mohon jangan taknak ngaku aku sebagai kawan dah. hahaha malu :P
Baiklah, post sebelum ni aku mintak semua orang doakan aku supaya dapat grad dengan cemerlang. Alhamdulillah dengan berkat doa, dorongan dan semangat dari parents, adik-beradik, atok nenek, family besar aku, tunang, kawan-kawan & semuaaaaaaaaa yang kenal aku secara lansung dan tak lansung, aku dah grad! weeeeee dah ada degree wey. Alhamdulillah. 3 tahun bertungkus lumus dekat UK tu (literally), akhirnya aku dapat hadiahkan segulung Degree dekat parents aku especially yang banyaakkkk berkorban untuk aku. Bukan nak poyo, tapi bagi yang mengikuti perjalanan aku dalam blog ni, mesti tau macam mana stressnya aku waktu zaman foundation dulu. sangat-sangat stress sampai ramai jugak yang tolong nasihat aku semua sampai kita dah jadi kawan pun kan? With that, I thank you.

Officially a graduate of Newcastle University with the Degree of Accounting & Finance with Honors. No words could describe how I feel right now 

Special thanks to my parents for your endless motivation and continuous support. I hope I do make both of you proud. This is for you Ibu and Abah! To my supervisors and lecturers, thank you for believing in me. I couldn't have done this without your guidance. To my fiance, you never failed to calm me and also became my 'punch bag' whenever I need someone to talk to. It means a lot to me. Also thanks to my siblings, big family, uncles, aunties and everyone who have prayed for my success and keep motivating me along the way.

Finally, thank you to my special friends who are always there for me. Honestly, I have been through a lot esp during my final year. Without them, I would've lost in my own world. Therefore, thank you. Thank you so much. You know who you are and please know that I love you guys so much.

So, that's basically what I wrote on the day of the graduation. Aku nak type banyak lagi masa tu, tapi takut menjejes air mata yang mahal ni. haha aku memang bulan 5-7 boleh dikatakan bulan air mata jatuh ke riba oh. kejap-kejap nangis. nak kata stress, yela waktu exam stress la lepas tu dah habis nak nangis kenapa lagi? haih gedik. tapi sekarang InsyaAllah okay dah. Since I'm back for good, kerja aku sekarang melepet je dekat rumah sementara nak masuk kerja bulan 12 ni. Alhamdulillah aku dah dapat kerja dah :) Oh and at the same time, aku tengah busy prepare untuk something. Hehe. Itu nantilah aku cerita. Kahkah okay lah nak pergi solat Maghrib. Sayonaraaaaa~~~

haha cerita basi betul. but these are few updates since 2 bulan tak update blog kan? untuk tatapan umum kalau ada sesiapa nak tahu la dan juga untuk kenangan diri sendiri & future generations (wiwiwiwi AMIN AMIN) - teringat pulak selalu guna ayat ni untuk karangan English SPM dulu. hahah.

1. Boxing Day 2012 - London

Insyaallah akan update pasal ni soon,  sebab banyak jugak nak cerita pasal Boxing Day kali ni. lawak pun ada, sakit hati pun ada. So, kalau nak tahu, silalah tunggu ;p tapi kalau nak baca pasal Boxing Day 2011 dulu, boleh KLIK SINI.  

2. JANUARY EXAM 2013

This exam counts 25% for the final exam. Alhamdulillah everything went very well though I am not really satisfied with the marks. Just imagine, you know you've done your very best for the exams and the marks turned out to be "bebiasa saje". sedih tau. mase keluar dewan tu yakin dah boleh dapat 90+. eh over. tapi tinggi la. hmm tak baik bersangka buruk. takpelah, Insyaallah ade rezeki akan ku tingkatkan usaha untuk final exams nanti. 

3. SNOWWWWWWWWWWWW YA ALLAH SNOWWWWWWWWW!!

4. Part-time teacher

HEHE. takdelah part time sangat. This is more to voluntary work. Daripada bangun lambat waktu weekend, better spend time mengajar budak-budak ni basic things about Islam. mana nak dapat kat sekolah sini selain daripada didikan ibu bapa diorang kat umah. So, kitorang ni sekadar membantu meMANTOPkan lagi ilmu pengetahuan diorang. sambil mengajar, banyak gak diri sendiri dapat. HIHI ;') the most important thing is, boleh lepaskan rindu kat adik-adik! :'D

anyways, I have tons and tons of assignments to be settled in two weeks time! I mean, most of them should only be drafts, but one of them is the real one and 25% of the results will contribute to my final exam marks. my oh my!! I'm so gelabah right now as that assignment is quite complicated and I don't even know whether I'm doing it correctly or not. If you know what I mean? The other 2 should be done after the Christmas Break but you  people know how 'last minute' work kan? So, kalau boleh memang nak settle before that tapi.. so many things to do, so little time. Despite all that, I know that is how a student's life should be. I should appreciate & cherish this moment. In fact, all of us should!

Nottingham Games 2012

Assalamualaikum and good day ladies & gents! 

see my excited face :D

How are yousss? Hoping that youss will always be in the pink of health! Last 2 weekends (10-11-12) *aaaahhhh cantiknya number* I went to the Nottingham Games 2012. haaaaa, boleh refer dekat post tahun lepas ye Nottingham games 2011 :) waaaaa dah setahun masa berlalu, 2 kali dah Shazzy pegi sini. Still, last year was amazing. This year's event was bleerrghhh! Why? Because obviously I went there for Malaysian food though I could still find some of them here in Newcastle. Well, Newcastle isn't so bad okay? However, I was really disappointed with the Food Festival itself. Very few stalls, not enough food & closed at 4pm? Dude, even the closing ceremony was at 7pm something right? Be considerate la. Ramai lagi tak makan kot. Wa perut gajah pun makan sekali je k ini tidak adil tidak adil bagiku :( I thought this should be one of the biggest Malaysian event in the UK & Ireland? orang penat datang dari jauh nak makan & enjoy, ni yang jadi pacitaaaaaaaaaaaa? LOL over.  complain-complain gak, tengok-tengok muka ni gak yang datang lagi next year ptuiii.

Despite all that, I could still manage to meet these awesome IB people!! My reactions towards seeing each and everyone of them were totally different. sorang tu kena jerit, sorang lagi dijerit, sorang lagi diterkejutkan (BM hancus lebus), sorang lagi kena tanya, 'INGAT AKU TAK INGAT AKU TAK??' excited punye pasal weh -___-

TGBIANS 07/08 REUNITED! ade lagi 2 orang yang tak masuk gamba sebab balik awal sangat boohooo!

mase nak balik tu BAAAMMM WE HAD A NIGHTMARE! Imagine we had to get off from the bus and stood in the middle of the road in a freaking cold weather as it broke down after leaving Nottingham for about 20km? JUST TELL ME ABOUT IT! Then, we had to wait for 3 hours for another bus to come, and so I had a cup of hot chocolate, 2 pack of sandwiches because I was super hungry! Everyone was actually *sigh*

Seriously? Hopefully next year's event would be better than this :')

Eid-ul Adha in Newcastle #Part3

This shall be my last but not least post about my Aidiladha. teeheee! tapi kali ni tak panjang sangat sebab I have tons and tons of assignments to be done!! arghhh seriously stress, sape suruh procrastinate lagi? PADAN MUKA myself :(

okay last week, my friends and I were invited to the 236's open house. makan free sape taknak? haha dah la beriyani, ade kambing pulak tu. sampai2 je kuah habis. so percaya tak kitorang memang duduk rumah tu sampai malam semata-mata nak tunggu kuah dal sampai. yelah, bayangkan makan nasi beriyani kering camtu, memang tak tertelan kot. elok je kuah dal sampai, ayam chicken cottage pun sampai! ahaaa memang double celebrations wuhuuuu! 

*sibuk je orang belakang tu* HAHAHA

malam tu balik serious kenyang gila! tapi rasenya tak tidur terus sebab duk sibuk cari bahan untuk assignment. nak mengeluh pun tak boleh, this is the road that I chose & I'll strive for infinite excellence insyaallah! ^__^

Eid-ul Adha in Newcastle #Part2

Assalamualalaikum ladies & gents! heeeee as promised, this shall be my second post for Eid-ul Adha celebration in Newcastle. These events happened the day after Aidiladha itself though so after I had my dinner which was the last open house lah, I went to bed straight kot? eh ntah ntah. *pause lagu sebab tak dapat concentrate*

okay so the first one was BALAI's Newcastle open house. It was tremendously superb I should say. with the people who came, different types of food which made me feels as if I was home and the opportunity that I had, to meet other new students and most postgrades & families whom have stayed for quite sometime. eh tambah kenalan ape salah kan. bila mana lagi nak bersua muka & beramah mesra ye dok? haha nak cerita lagi but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves dulu :)

seeeeeeeee how happy I was being a student in Newcastle Upon Tyne? HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH Alhamdulillah for His' blessings afterall. could not have asked for more :')

and so it finished at 4-ish like that. so long meh! then, after Maghrib, kak Hanis & kak Iylia invited me to go to Chef Ron's house. alang-alang menyeluk pekasam, biar sampai ke pangkal lengan. alang-alang dah iron baju kurung, biar guna terus sampai ke malam. lagipun, dapat makan! hahahahahahaha ku memang perosak pantung cenggini.

again, Alhamdulillah. takboleh mintak lebih dah. cuba tengok ni! 

terliur tak terliur tak? hehe ala, Malaysia kan ada semua ni. tinggal usaha nak buat sendiri je :P

Then its time to bully the babies! heee I love kids! especially the cute ones! ada ke baby yang tak cute? haaaa maksudnya suka semualaaahhhh! wishing I could have at least one for myself in the future, Amin :')

oi! jangan pergi dlu! tak habis lagi ni!! hahahaha joking :P

last but not least, I went to Kak Siti's house. ni pun makanan tak menahan, Mee Rebus. KAW PUNYA WA CAKAP LU! *tetibe gangster ni apahal?* tapi serious ah sedap, me never like mee rebus but for this one terus nak kasi thumbs up!

Eid-ul Adha in Newcastle #Part1

Assalamualaikum & good day everyone!

I know, my updates have always been about newcastle obviously, meeting the malays, food & stuff. I doubt most of you who have been following me since the day I registered blogging or since I came here must be wondering whether I do mingle around with the locals & other internationals right? The answer to that is, YES. but we do not take pictures randomly. hahaha thats the problem I must say, being a girl who loves taking picture a lot! *ehem* kbai walaupun tau tak photogenic, photogedik adelah.

ANYWAY, this shall be my first Aidiladha celebration in Newcastle. Why would I say that? Well, I did celebrate it here, at night (CLICK HERE) but my whole day was at MANCHESTER! (CLICK HERE). The experience wasn't really the same I must say. Last year, I did not have the opportunity to go for Solat Raya, tons and tons of open houses etc compared to this year where I woke up very early in the morning ( I'm not a morning person k so waking up early in the morning is such an achievement for me, YEAY :p ) to go for solat raya at the eldon leisure centre.

Subhanallah! What a meaningful day :') I was able to perform the Eid Al-Adha prayers together with Muslims from various countries. haaaa not a common thing right? Alhamdulillah :'D

Then, I had to go to the class which I can consider as quite interesting though. I don't know why, maybe it was Friday, the lecturer was in a good mood and I wore something colourful? :D

I went to my first open house after that. It was the owner of the Rasa Nusantara'. Allahu, the food was amazing & delicious! Alhamdulillah for that. haha but because of this, I was 20 mins late for my seminar. epic! pergi tu tumpang orang tapi takkan lah sebab kita ada class, nak suruh diorang pun balik awal kan? so I had to catch the bus instead. and the bus pulak was freaking lampi & lembab where it stops at every bus stand and waits for oldies to come in & scan their bus passes which took the bus so long to arrive at the Newcastle town! but luckily, my lecturer wasn't too strict at that time and Alhamdulillah she allowed me to come in. fuh fuh kalau tak hilang ilmuku :'(

balik bilik terus terbongkap jap. k tak terbongkang ye tapi REHAT. tak tidur pun because I have to get ready for my next open house which is 104 CANNING STREET!

 my favourite & will always be! wuhuuu! thanks kak iylia, kak hanis & family. the food was great and I truly love it!! feels like home Alhamdulillah :'D

haha rasanya event ni dalam 3 minggu lepas jugak la, housewarming bebudak lelaki tapi punyalah malas nak update. nak cerita satu persatu lagi lah malas, tengah simpan tenaga untuk post raya Aidiladha yang sangat best tu ^__^

Upon arrival in Newcastle - The Beginning of The Second Year

salam everyone! weee alhamdulillah I'm back! dengan berbekalkan result first year, Alhamdulillah sekarang dapat sambung 2nd year pulak dan insyaallah grad tahun 2014 with first class degree. insyaallah insyaallah amin :')

sebenarnya kan, shazzy nak update pasal pegi Australia haritu, lepas tu konon dah save la dalam draft sebab nak buat satu post sekaligus kan. dah siap sampai hari ke-4 tak silap, pastu bila dah dalam train nak balik Newcastle baru teringat tak transfer semua gamba official kat Australia aritu. hmmm terus lemah nak sambung entry tu. tapi dah half way dah pun, insyaallah soon I publish post tu yer :) Alhamdulillah rezeki & nikmat Allah tu luas. bagi yang memang follow shazzy dari awal lagi (ntah-ntah takde pun), mesti tahu pasal kehidupan lepas SPM, masuk IB, keluar IB masuk MUFY etc etc. ingatkan dah tak dapat sambung overseas, tapi Allah dah takdirkan untuk shazzy datang sini and I know I really have to grab this opportunity and be the best! *semangat* okay nak cite pasal departure aritu. haha dah 2nd year pun, one whole family datang hanta & suprisingly semua adik beradik ibu pun datang dengan anak-anak sekali merangkap sepupu kite lah. sumpah terharu sangat sebab ada yang memang tak bagitahu pun nak datang. thank you sangat-sangat :') tu bila fikir, kalau lah datang UK sekadar nak main-main, sekadar nak ada title 'student overseas', ruginye lah kan?

see? and I lost count on how many instax photos that I took at the airport. tak termasuk yang I bagi kat semua orang yang nak lagi. hehehehehe. dalam 20 minit je dah habis 3 kotak rasanya. waaaaaaa. Malam tu bajet la nak macho taknak nangis. sekali Uncle Zali cakap camni, "awak belajar rajin-rajin, ibu & abah simpan harapan yang tinggi dekat awak tau". perrghh terus tersedu. sangat menusuk Uncle Zali. Thanks for the advice. masa tu macam tiba-tiba dapat semangat memang nak bagi abah & ibu first class degree nanti. Insyaallah Insyaallah doakan ye sahabat-sahabat sekalian :'D lepas tu sampai setiap orang lepas tu shazzy peluk & cium sambil teresak-esak. huuuu malu jugak la dekat orang yang nak check passpoart & boarding pass tu. nasib baik takde orang lain sangat waktu tu. Shazzy amek flight Malaysian Airlines therefore straight to London for almost 14 hours. The journey was smooth Alhamdulillah. dapat tengok movie 2 kali je sambil makan tapi lepas tu terus tidur. miahahaha! memula dah nak naik train pukul 10.30 to Newcastle. sekali stranded pulak disebabkan weather yang tak berapa baik, so daripada tukar train tiket ke malam, baik tuka besok petang. dapat la pegi Stradford and shopping kat Forever 21 yang takde kat Ncl ni :P

dah kalau pergi London memang tak sah tak jumpe 'kakak" kesayangan aku ni. haha kakak ke Maisarah? kawan dunia akhirat aku Insyaallah. kebetulan, dia pindah rumah pulak aritu. so, lepas tinggal bag kat umah dia terus pegi Stradford. gila kejam tak tolong kan? haha Maisarah yang tak bagi :P tapi kalau aku pindah rumah pun, aku tak kasi orang sentuh barang sendiri. contohnya dekat rumah ni lah, bayangkan lah tak bagi new housemate pindahkan satu barang pun dari bilik lama tu (sebab shazzy pindah bilik bawah). haaa bukan apa, kang termiss place kang, susaaahhh.... OH, btw malam tu dinner dengan the boys je dekat Stradford tu. sedap! nasib baik halal. tapi tak amek gamba lupa nak masuk Instagram. LOL. So, memang lepas shopping tu balik dan sebenarnya takleh tido. taktau asal tak jet lag sangat tapi susah gak nak tido malam tu. tapi berkeras gak sampaikan lepas tu diorang sambung kemas aku tak ingat ape dah. haha besoknya baru kitorang g lunch berempat sesama dekat Alounak. tempat yang sama masa pergi dengan abah haritu.

haaaaaaa thanks guys for your time! Thanks Arief sebab doakan kereta api I stranded so that I could shop (hahahahahah), thanks Haziq sebab teman aku lunch & shopping fuhh! tapi aku tak bagi masuk F21 nanti kau termanggu sensorang. kekekeke. Thanks for the dinner too! Last but not least, thanks Maisarah for the hospitality, roti & kaya kihkihkih dan sanggup ponteng half day sebab aku! hehe thanks guys! :D :D

and finallyyyyyyy nasib baik kereta api pukul 4 tu tak stranded and alhamdulillah I arrived in Newcastle at 7.10pm like that. sampai je rumah, amazingly mana ntah dapat tenaga untuk kemas dari pukul 7.30pm to 1.30 am. lepas tu memang lapar tahap gorilla dah.
